General format for OER

  • The tool used to create the resources must be eXeLearning. The latest stable version must always be used, and the style used should be "Cedec Oficial 2017."

  • For each area or OER, the structure of the resource shall be defined, along with the iDevices that correspond to each content type. The structure defined, as well as the different types of iDevices assigned, must be maintained throughout all of the teaching sequences of the same area.

  • Each page must not exceed 4 "mouse scrolls." This is an approximate length, as content is viewed on the computer screen.

  • The classroom may have people with different visual, auditory, physical, and intellectual abilities. Therefore, to the maximum extent possible, the OER must be adapted to meet the specific needs of each individual. Throughout this guide, accessibility recommendations shall be marked with the icon accesibilidad. The resource entitled "Material Formats and Accessibility" can be used to expand upon any of these aspects.

These accessibility recommendations are the result of the cooperative effort of the CENTAC Education Group (National Center for Accessibility Technology).
